The hardest part about this challenge is not picking the poem and it’s not picking the background. The hardest part is picking the font color. I want it to be readable, but still fit with the aesthetic. I hope you are enjoying my words.
I’m going to be sharing a poem from my past each day using the wonderful, beautiful scenery from the Sims 4 as a back drop.
Another poem about the silent boy. I have a lot of them. He really broke my heart. I used that heartbreak to write my first novel: ‘A Murder of One’ by Patti Keno. It’s available on Amazon.
I know I already shared a poem today, but every time I trip or hurt myself I think of this poem and since I’ve lately been obsessed with watching the clowns on NoPixel GTArp. So yeah, it’s just a strange convergence of clowns-injuring myself-poetry that brings you this extra poem today.

I struggled to find an image for the background until I found these pics of my simself failing at bowling. It seemed rather perfect. I wrote this after I hurt my shoulder (An injury that bothers me greatly to this day. 6 years later and still no doctor can figure out what’s wrong with it.) I think a lot of people with Ehlers-Danlos and other disabilities can relate to this poem.

I think this poem out of all of my poems represents me the most. It’s all about feeling invisible. I actually used the last line as the title of my poetry book.

The poems in this blog are mostly fiction. Many are based on true events, but are way over exaggerated. I wrote these poems to express my pain real or imagined. I may have been depressed when i wrote a lot of them, but i have since gone to therapy and gotten the help i needed. I urge you if you feel depressed to seek help. There is hope, there is a light at the end of that dark tunnel.
